In English 11000, I learned a lot. I learned about many new rhetorical devices I never knew about that were all around me. I learned about a lot of protests that were happening because of the class. I want to learn more about rhetorical devices and how to properly use them to draw in the audience. Here are some ways I can improve. 

            One strategy is to expose myself to a variety of texts that make use of rhetorical devices. This can include speeches, essays, advertisements, and other forms of written or spoken communication. By analyzing these texts and identifying the various rhetorical devices being used, I can gain a better understanding of how these devices work and how they can be effectively employed in their own communication.

            Another strategy is to have myself practice analyzing texts for rhetorical devices on mt own. This can be done by providing prompts or sample texts and asking the individual to identify and explain the various devices being used. This kind of practice can help the individual develop the critical thinking skills needed to identify and analyze rhetorical devices in real-world communication.

            A third strategy is to have me engage in class discussions or group activities centered around rhetorical devices. This can include analyzing texts as a group and discussing the various devices being used, as well as sharing examples of effective or ineffective use of rhetorical devices. Engaging in these kinds of discussions can help me develop my understanding of rhetorical devices and how they are used in different contexts.

            Finally, it can be helpful for me to study the work of experts in the field of rhetorical analysis. By reading books or articles written by scholars who have extensively studied rhetorical devices, then I can gain a deeper understanding of the various techniques and strategies used in rhetorical analysis.
